At GID, we offer top-of-the-line refurbishment services for obsolete industrial CPU boards. Our process involves cap and battery replacement, processor and memory certifications and upgrades, and careful cleaning throughout.
We also perform thorough testing to ensure 100% functionality. Many other vendors will do testing that is quite limited in scope and only confirms that the board powers on and displays video. We go a step further and check many other key functionalities like Hard Drive, Ethernet, COM, Flat Panel, USB and SCSI, verifying that everything works as it should.
Boards that come from the grey market are often unreliable in terms of quality – you never really know what you're getting. Sometimes they're in decent shape, but more often than not, there are problems.
Due to this reality, we've perfected our refurbishment process over the years. Once the boards pass through our process, they are once again in like-new condition and can easily last another 7-10 years.
